XL Softener + Filtration

48,000 grains · More capacity
The same one-tank system, with more capacity.
The XL is our Standard system in a larger tank, with more CG10 softening resin. It goes longer between regenerations, which makes it a better fit for bigger households, higher water use, or harder water.

What it does

Stops hard water scale

Protects your water heater, appliances, and fixtures from mineral buildup.

Removes chlorine taste and odor

Coconut-shell carbon takes out chlorine at every tap.

Keeps up with bigger households

More capacity means fewer regenerations and soft water even on busy days.

Common questions

Same design, bigger tank. The XL holds 1.5 cu ft of resin instead of 1.125, raising capacity from 36,000 to 48,000 grains, so it handles more water between regenerations.

Both use about 9 lbs of salt per regeneration. Because the XL regenerates less often, it can be the more efficient choice for larger households.
